Ratti Gali Lake
Located at an altitude of 12,130 feet above sea level, Ratti Gali Lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush green meadows. The lake’s crystal clear waters reflect the magnificent scenery, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.
How to get to Ratti Gali lake
Traveling by road, you’ll first reach Dowarian, a small village in Azad. From there, you may have to hop on to a 4X4 vehicle (probably a Jeep) to get to Ratti Gali Lake as it’s a bumpy and rocky path. After taking a jeep ride for almost a couple of hours, you’ll reach the base camp area of Ratti Gali Lake. From there, you’ll have to trek for almost 2 more hours to reach your destination. Along with trekking, horseback riding may also be available for tourists. Once you reach Ratti Gali Lake, you will be mesmerized by the stunning alpine scenery, with snow-capped mountains and lush green meadows surrounding the crystal-clear waters. You can spend some time relaxing by the lake or take a refreshing dip in the cold waters.
